We are proud to Introduce the BRAND NEW Maeda Conde Koma Kimono. A tribute to the “Conde Koma” himself.
In 1914 a pioneer of combat sports came to Brazil from Japan and changed the world forever. In order to repay a favor, Mitsuyo Maeda taught 14 year old Carlos Gracie all the techniques and principles he had learned in Japanese Judo. This would lay the foundation for the sport we know today as Brazillian Jiu Jitsu.
Embrace your lineage with this beautifully styled and carefully constructed Kimono. Featuring a 100% Cotton 475 GSM jacket and 10 oz. 100% drill cotton pants which include a rope draw-string for maximum comfort.
The interior is lined along the yoke with a dye sublimated printed panel featuring the Japanese Castle of Hirosaki. An epitaph for Maeda is located on the grounds of the castle.
The exterior is decorated with embroidered logos and woven patches placed in compliance with IBJJF gi rules.
